Its from Free Radical, and they have not done any wrong in my eyes.

I was a little disappointed with there comments that they would probably not put a map maker with haze. Which is read from there site as being possibly too complicated to work in.

With absolute great games like timesplitters and golden eye, there is no doubt
in my mind that this will be a "worth every penny game."

Did anyone catch where they said they are using there next gen engine for this game. "I love it when I hear about a new game engine, new possibilities..."

Btw if you go to Free Radicals website and go to the download page,
they let you download the soundtracks to all there games, including cover art. Just shows how much they appreciate the fans.

Haze is a Ubisoft game, I doubt it will be better than Halo 3 (unless Ubisoft only handles the distribution of the game).

Its made by Free Radical, ubi is the publisher.

Most of the folk on Free Radical are responsible for Goldeneye, Perfect Dark (the first one), Timeplitters (all of them), and Second Sight.

Bit of an 'urban myth' that really, here's the staff that I remember transferred over (roles are from GoldenEye development):

David Doak - Screenplay
Graeme Norgate - Composer
Karl Hilton - Environment? Artist
Steve Ellis - Director

Plenty of key GE/PD figure still work at Rare like Duncan Botwood, John Mummery and the fantastic Grant Kirkhope.

Martis Hollis started up Zoonami. Not sure if we'll ever get anything from him/them!

And obviously there's a lot of fresh blood at Free Radical so I don't think you can base their capabilities on the quality of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

Sure I can. Fair enough on Golden Eye but I put alot on Timesplitters and previous experience.

I think I'm going to get on very well with this game. Everything looks great, even the shadows.

There's a new trailer too.

Gameplay video! Should be some better quality footage of the game tomorrow.

A few of these are new (and I'm posting the rest again because this game deserves a lot more attention!)

Well, the PS3 is the lead platform, so we can't have a bad port. I really don't care about a title being multiplatform, so long as we don't get shafted in the process.

Default Haze - PS3 lead dev platform & '07 exclusive

PS3 now lead platform for Haze
Added on 23/05/2007.

When Halo 3 hits this fall, Xbox 360 owners are going to enjoy first-rate first person shooting. Sony could very well counter with Killzone 2, but the release window is as of now completely unknown. So what will PlayStation 3 owners enjoy FPS-wise instead?

Ubisoft today announced that the PlayStation 3 is now the lead platform for Free Radical's impressive-looking first person shooter Haze. Originally set to debut on the 360, PC and PS3 in spring, Ubisoft pulled a fast one, with Haze now coming only to PS3 this fall. It is unknown if Haze will hit the Xbox 360 and PC in 2008.

Thats Some Really Good News I Think This Is The Game Ubisoft Was Talkin About!

A couple places are reporting a PS3 TIMED exclusive and it WILL hit PC and 360 in 2008. Hmmm, I dont mind either way, but it would be nice to hear that they decided to go PS3 only.

I watched that gameplay video for ubi days on this game.. and thats
just sleek. Sign me up. This world does not have enough fps games
for consoles.
