Problem: ”At approximately around the 00:40:52, we can distinctly see that Willis's dialogue while being interviewed by the scientists is slightly out of sync. Immediately after, a few shots from 00:41:13 - 00:41:25 are strangely repeated ten seconds earlier at 00:41:00 - 00:41:12.”
Problem: The final finished master was missing an original film editorial fade to black insert in the film. Warner Bros is pressing new discs. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=7374 No idea, if Warner Bros will start a replacement program for it? Will update this topic.
Problem: “Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) has identified an issue with the home entertainment releases of Psycho - 60th Anniversary Edition and The Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection, that specifically impacts copies of Psycho’s Blu-ray and 4K UHD versions made available on September 8, 2020. The initial run of the film’s Blu-ray and 4K UHD discs produced inadvertently omitted Psycho’s original 1960 mono track. UPHE’s goal is to always deliver the best possible product to its consumers. To that end, a replacement program is being established in the U.S. and Canada to ensure that those who have purchased this recent release of Psycho on Blu-ray or 4K UHD receive a corrected disc. To receive an updated Psycho disc, please visit the UPHE Support website (https://www.uphe.com/contact-support) or directly email USHEConsumerRelations@visionmediamgmt.com.”
Problem: Our team have investigated these issues with the disc, and it would appear that our authoring facility used the incorrect inferior audio file when completing the disc.
To rectify this, we are speaking with our facility regarding a replacement UHD disc with the corrected audio. We will be in touch shortly to confirm timeframes regarding their production and shipping.

Problem: "We discovered this weekend that there is a problem with Blu-ray disc 1 in all of our Citizen Kane editions that affects the contrast in the feature film, starting around the 30-minute mark and lasting until the end of the film. The 4K UHD disc is not affected. We are in the process of manufacturing corrected copies and will be making replacements available to all of our customers. We hope to have replacement discs ready to ship before the end of the year."
Problem: "It has come to our attention that due to a technical error, the set includes an incorrect bonus materials disc for 'Lawrence of Arabia' with fewer pieces of content than intended. We are working with our operations team to determine a solution for consumers who are purchasing the collection, and will communicate that to you as soon as possible." ~Sony Pictures https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Lawre...266975/#Review

Problem: Known on the UK release: compatibility issues with some players with the 4K Blu-ray disc. Plus the included standard Blu-ray was an old release.

Problem: Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that the soundtrack for the US theatrical cut of DEMONS contains an error. At around the 62-minute mark, the audio incorrectly reverts to the separate international English soundtrack for approximately 12 minutes.
This affects both the UHD and Blu-ray versions of the title (catalogue numbers FCD2035 and FCD2090).
We understand that this is disappointing for fans who were looking forward to experiencing this distinct version of the film in the form in which it was originally shown in US cinemas in 1985.
We are pleased to say that we have corrected the issue and we now have replacement discs ready to send out to any customer who has purchased a 2021 release of this title. This issue only affects the DEMONS disc in the set, there is no replacement needed for the DEMONS 2 disc. https://arrowfilms.com/news/demons-r...ent-programme/

Problem: On select players, the theatrical cut exhibits persistent jerky motion/stuttering through its running time.
Problem: "It has come to our attention that there is an English audio encoding error on the new 4K Ultra HD Disc of John Carpenter’s Escape from L.A. Paramount Home Entertainment has corrected the issue and is immediately creating new discs, however the initial shipment of discs has reached some retail outlets. Fans who purchase a disc with a white UPC barcode on the package and would like a replacement should email PHE_CustomerService@Paramount.com for instructions. The corrected product will be shipped free of charge. If your disc package has a yellow UPC barcode, then it is the corrected version and you do not need a replacement."

Problem: We are aware there was a production error on the Rambo 40th Anniversary Steelbook and that the 2 new extras were not included on the UHD disc:
-A Long Road: 40 years of First Blood

We will be implementing a disc replacement service early 2023.
Please be assured as soon as we have full details we will get back to you directly.
Problem: At timecode: 1:00.58 there are playback issues and weird jumps. Only the UK HMV Exclusive Cine Edition is affected. The 4K disc on the UK standard edition is not affected. Rest of the world is fine too. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...&postcount=825

Problem: We have an update for you! We received additional reports of playback issues for select copies of these discs (primarily on select players, including Panasonic DP-UB820, PlayStation 5 consoles, Oppo UDP-205 and 203 players, and some Sony UBP-X700). The issue usually presents itself as skipping, freezing and pixelation. The timeframe for the error varies.

Please write your name and current date on the faulty PRINCESS BRIDE 4K UHD disc using a sharpie or paint marker and send us a photo. Also provide your shipping address within the email. Do not mark up the Blu-ray disc(s) or the packaging, as only the 4K UHD disc will be replaced.

Your text for 2001 says replacement program unknown, but you've added it to this list. Do you have some new info?
I have no info yet. That's why I left it open and placed a question mark. But Warner Bros is pressing new discs. With this info, consumers can always contact Warner Bros. We will have to wait when it's December 18th, 2018 when new stock is expected to arrive.
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (UK) could be added. First press only worked on a select few players and the included blu-ray was the older release, not from the new 4k master.

Do we know anything about 2001 yet? I emailed WB Tuesday about it and haven't heard anything.
No announced replacement program because our discs weren't supposed to go out in the first place. They might replace them through support emails, might not. You know as much as anyone.

I wouldn't get that "Grease" disc exchanged just yet. For a split second blip you may not catch, you now instead get a whole section of the movie with HDR encoding errors that can cause brightness fluctuations.

Don't you know if it is problem only of first pressing, and it is fixed now? I have the UK version - and it does not play on any of my Panasonic players (even with newest update).

Not just section but sections, plural. The flickering is minimised in Dolby Vision but quite blatant in HDR10.
I don't think a pressing with an error is THAT desirable.
It has a unique cover, and the error actually ads a couple seconds of footage rather than remove anything. So yes, I bet it's desirable to some. Whether it'll be worth any kind of real money though, I dunno.

I know it's late, but honestly, don't.
1) It was literally 1 scene with a hard transition instead of fade. (Discs got sent out just before they were able to recall them)
2)Can always buy a corrected disc later, but again, it's one transition.
3) Think of resell, or just collector's value later on.

Honestly i can see it as a "cool thing i have in my collection" deal. But still.
