Sorry to report to the Twilight Time faithful that our April Titles "pre-announcement" was in error, as Fox has advised that THE PAPER CHASE (1973) was spoken for elsewhere and our skulls full of mush will not be replaced by lawyerly thoughts. However, we are pleased to substitute a comparably desired gem -- and double Academy Award winner -- THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN (1954), from a 2016 4K restoration. It joins MELVIN AND HOWARD (1980), THE SNAKE PIT (1948) and STAGECOACH (1966) on the April 16 hi-def Blu-ray Release Roster. Thanks for understanding.

EDIT: The Paper Chase (1973) will will not be released on Blu-ray April 16, 2019, from from Twilight Time. This will be a limited edition of 3000 copies. Per Twilight Time's announcement above, it is with another (as yet unrevealed) label. Since this just got a brand a brand new 4K restoration, it is no doubt coming but right now we don't know from whom.

From IMDb...A first-year law student at Harvard Law School struggles with balancing his coursework and his relationship with the daughter of his sternest professor.

Starring:

Timothy Bottoms (The Last Picture Show, A Small Town in Texas, Rollercoaster, Invaders from Mars, and many TV series and movies in the 1990s through today)

Lindsey Wagner (most famous for television roles especially The Bionic Woman....this is one of her few theatrical films)

and most impressively.....John Houseman, who won an Oscar for his role in this film. His career was mainly as a producer and writer, but later in life he acted in several theatrical films, among them Rollerball and The Fog, as well as television movies and series.

Music by John Williams (Star Wars, Schindler's List, Empire of the Sun, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, and many more)

Cinematography by Gordon Willis (The Godfather Trilogy, Klute, Comes a Horseman, All the President's Men, The Parallax View, Annie Hall and many Woody Allen films)
