Not really feeling it to be honest, way too blue. Also feel like they're clearly trying to go for Fury Road stylings here, same for Beyond Thunderdome.

Even though it's even more of an apparent rip of Fury Road, I'd rather the SB's have looked like the regular 4K releases. At least that way it would match up a lot better with the Fury Road Steelbook tha BB and others put out.

These Steelbooks are being released by Warner, the first film is held by MGM, and they licensed the 4K to Kino who put it out last year. I believe the film will also be included with the 4K anthology set (although it only looks like 3 films mentioned on spine, so maybe not?), but perhaps Warner aren't allowed to make an individual release of it.

I find it also strange that it looks like only 3 titles are listed on the spine of the Anthology Box, but the site that put out that artwork (and the 2 individual artworks that now are confirmed) lists this in the description:

Took WB long enough to do a 4K release of The Road Warrior, especially considering it's the film's 40th anniversary. I'll definitely be getting this steelbook to go along with the Fury Road 4K steelbook that I got a while back.

Looks rather pedestrian, but good to know the other Mad Max movies are getting a 4K release. I'll soon have the only 2 in the original trilogy actually worth owning (or even watching) in 4K.
