Default Holographic Versatile Disc or Protein coated, which one?

I'm sure when most of us know when UHDTV comes about in around 15-20 years time, we will need a new disc format that will handle the amount of fine detail for video. I know that these formats are not going to be useful with the high prices and the only thing that it can be used for right now is digital cinema but like I said, once we get UHDTV (and living rooms big enough to fit the TV's in) we need somethin' for waching movies. I don't think even downloads in the future will have the bandwith for that amount of data. Here are the links to compare the discs:

Holographic Versatile Disc

Protein coated disc

PS, Mods, since this is NOT a HD DVD/HD VMD discussion will you still be movin' this to the off topic discussion?
