Default Blu-ray replaces DVD???

To be honest, I don't see it happening any time soon or at all. I have a high end home theater system as I'm sure many of you do, and I just bought my first BD player but I think that most people are happy with DVDs and the price of DVD players and movies. In my area you can buy new DVDs for $14 - $16, so I think until the price of blu-rays comes down to about $18 it will remain a nitch market. And even though there is a definite difference in resolution between a BD and a DVD it isn't like the differences between VHS and DVD. I just hope that Blu-ray doesn't go the way SACD and DVD-Audio went... (away). Of course I also am the proud owner of two beta VCRs that are somewhere in my garage. But at least I waited until the hi-def format war ended before I replaced my DVD player with a blu-ray player.
