Did you ever notice that in commercials the Blu-ray case is always covering the DVD case. I wonder why? Is blu-ray just that awesome.

i would imagine to show the average consumer that doesnt do home theater that there is another format

You always want new and exciting product at the forefront, plus the blu cases are smaller. Just my .02

What about UMD? Are they in front, middle or back?

And they tend to be in the back, or off to the left with a tilt. :/

i would venture a guess that its cause the blu-ray case is shorter, therefore the top of the DVD case can peer out form behind. If it was the other way around, we wouldn't get to see the blu at the top :/

My local Fry's Electronics Recently clearenced out most of their UMDs....got TONS of great movies for $2.99 a pop....bought like 20 of them...haha! Good times....good enough to keep me busy on trips and such.
