Smile TV upgrading, opinions wanted

Heya!

Well, I'm in the middle of buying a new TV, i currently own this:
Samsung 32'' LE32T51B
And i like it, but it has some problems, for instance it doesn't have any HDMI ports and low Contrast ratio (2000:1), and other stuff.
Now, a friend of mine want to buy and, and is willing to pay 200£ for it, so I'm warming up to that idea and go get a new TV...
Now, i don't have that much money really, but with the 200£ i would be able to buy this one.
Samsung 32'' LE32R86BD
Now, the price where i buy it is only 550£ (Denmark) so that would be a nice cheap buy for me.
Is there anything wrong with this TV? should i be aware of anything? Is there a better option? i can go about 50£ above that price but not much more.
I will be connecting a Wii through Composite, Xbox360 through Component, PS3 through HDMI and DVD player through HDMI (i know what you think :P)

Any help will be greatly appreciated =)

Hey ... are you from Denmark?

I would go for a Samsung too. But I would save some extra money and go for at 40' 1080p ... you can get a good from Samsung for 880 £. You will not regret it.

That's still a fantastic price for a forty-foot screen! My problem would be finding a wall that big...

The reviews i have seen, the new Samsung models scores a bit higher than the Sony LCD's

It always depends on the reviewer I personally favor Samsung over Sony. Nothing bad about Sony

Jepper, Århusianer her
/end of Danish

Well, my room simply isnt big enough for a bigger screen then 32''... as a matter of fact, i should properly downscale to 27'' but no way :P
So going larger is out of the question, but what i want is better picture quality at the same size, atm i have a lot of blur when there is movement, and being that i'm at the moment a little bit too close to the screen it is very noticable...
=)

Også fra Århus
//End of Danish

Than I would say, go for the 32' you linked to.

Do you have a PS3?

Hi,

Unless you have a small room or watching the TV very close, I will recommend a min 40" LCD TV to start off with esp if you want to view HiDef Programs or BD Discs. I think the price differential is not that much nowadays between 32" and 40". Make sure it supports Full HD ( ie 1920 x 1080 progressive ).

As a matter of fact, i do have a small room, and watch it way too close... so yeah, upscaling in size is not an option.
