If you don't just put a link to the pictures how do you expect lazy bastards such as myself to view and judge

On the positive side, that cabinet is quite impressive and the BD logo on it is really cool.

On the negative side I told you I'm lazy and you made me move my mouse all the way to the HT where the link is, how dare you ?

You said "no wood, plastic, or metal" above pic 1. What is it made out of then?

Nice job, you will fill it up fast though.

To quote my boy Vince Vaughan from Wedding Crashers: I like where your head's at with this project. I'm a big fan of cool and unique stuff and I have a project of my own on the way that I'll soon be sharing with the congregation. I say rock on with your badass cabinet. Rock the F--- on!

I'm confused, though, when you say "this intire cabinet is made by hand *by me* no wood, plastic, or metal" (quoted verbatim from your gallery). What exactly do you mean no wood, plastic, or metal? What material is it; space-age polymer or something? Surely there's some wood and/or plastic in there.

But yeah, dude...those pics might be the worst I've ever seen. I beg of you to borrow a camera and post some better ones, if for no other reason than you won't be hassled for it. Plus for my own curiosity, I'd love to get a better idea of the build quality and overall design of this thing. I'd love to PM with you about this, too.

Is that a big blu-ray sticker or did you use a router to cut the image in there. I can't tell because your camera must have fell into the ocean or something lol.

Thank you all very much, I trully do appreciate it all. But I'm mainly posting this comment to tell you the material I used. LOL I have to laugh at all of you wiht your thoughts. No offense but I purposly stated that comment above my pic. the material is indeed NOT WOOD . but very close. Believe it or not. The entire cabinet (doors, insignia, the shelves everything) is entirely made out of cardboard. NO LIE. I have a hobby business which I build custom furniture like cabinets entirely out of cardboard. I figured, I want to something for me. that I needed to keep the kids from fingering up the disc's those wiht kids no what I'm talking about. feel free to PM for more info

(this is no way a way of my trying to advertise my business. please don't think it is, I will only supply my website to those who ask for it in a PM.)

actually the logo is on top of the doors and sticks out about 3/4'' out. And yes I did cut but wiht a knife, not a router.

I would say that is the most elegant piece of cardboard furniture I've ever seen, but:

a) my sample set in this genre is quite small; and
b) it's hard to really see how well it's made due to the -- shall we say -- unclear images

I still say it's a nice piece of work, and I would really like to see higher-res pics.

well thank you for that.

Believe you me. I made another cabinet not like this one but it also is on the wall its one I made for my mother only that one has a breadbox opening a drawer and a shelf that one is over a year old and still and durable, structly sound, and usable as the day I made it.

Hey, I believe you. Why? Because if you weren't confident or proud of your work, you wouldn't be posting it here. That's why I really want to see some sharper pics. I like the idea of what you've done and am thoroughly intrigued.

I don't click on people's gallery's... I try not to meddle in other people's business.
