Better PQ: I am Legend or I Robot? - Blu-ray Forum

After my wife and I watched I am Legend last night we were debating which one had the better PQ. My wife says I am Legend while I still favor I Robot. Just curious what other people think?

well they are both 5 star video and audio. however, i do think I, Robot is a 'better' 5 star. It's the best I've seen yet, and I've seen a LOT. I Am Legend might have some better scenes for high def, but that doesn't mean the pq is necessarily any better.

IMO it is a tie. Both are 5 star and both are excellent must have BD's.

Thanks for the info I was wondering how I-Robot looked on blu-ray. I thought I am Legend Looked great!

Looks like I Robot might runaway with this. It's a shame to compare the two because they are fantastic in every way.

For me the PQ on I Robot is noticeably better than I Am Legend. Still, they are both extremely good.

I watched I am Legend on Thursday and just watch I, Robot last night. I felt I, Robot had a more crisp image, probably due to the fact it was shot in Super 35 whereas Legend was shot using anamorphic lenses.
Nevertheless, both were 5 star video transfers.

So far the best I've seen is Harry Potter: OotP and No Country for Old Men.
So I Am Legend/I,Robot top both of those?

It's not even close. Fox is getting good at this. These other companies need to come with their "A game. I-Robot has the picture and SOUND that blu-ray owners crave. The sound in I-Robot unbelievable.

I am Legend looked good but I thought I, Robot was a notch or two above it. It's the best I've seen. I think it'll be interesting to see how long it takes for I, Robot to be topped.

I think it's noticebly better in I Robot,
considering there's like CG in almost every scene.

I Robot for sure, but I am Legend has the best PQ of any WB title I think.

I think i robot has slighter edge on the pq....don't get me wrong, both are fantastic, but in my opinion i robot is the winner out of the two....

Well, both are equal in the excellent PQ department. It's just that I, Robot has more CGI, more colors, SPFX to show off then I Am Legend. I AM LEGEND is more of a realistic presentation of New York in it's aftermath of a virus with vampire/zombies. I, ROBOT's futuristic city and CGI indoor evironments and characters make this the movie favorite to demo to your friends I guess. BOTH are great!!!

I Robot in my opinion is better in every way. It was consistently good throughout the entire movie make my jaw dropped. This one is hard to beat!

I Am Legend looks very good, but it's still very soft.

I, Robot is sharp as a tack, minus some of the CGI.
