I personally have 4 Sixaxis controllers and am wanting to replace them with Dual Shock 3's
I was wondering if anyone else was planning on doing this? I was also curious what you all think would be a good price to sell my Sixaxis Controllers at. Id like to offer them to all of you first. PM me if you are interested. |

Nah. I will use the dualshock 3 as my main controllers, but keep the sixaxis (they work fine) for when friends come over.
I will have 4 controllers then. I waited to buy the last 2 for the dualshock 3. Now that time has come! ![]() |

Nope, I imagine that the dual shock 3's will eat up some battery and add significant weight. Plus, I like and have gotten used to the light Sixaxis. I don't want to go back to a heavy Dualshock.

Well, I don't even have many games for my PS3 yet (the only one I have it Motorstorm, which came with the system, and while it is impressive graphically, I just don't care much for this type of game). Currently I am mainly using my PS3 as a Blu-Ray player, and I only have the Sixaxis controller that came with it, and the Blu-Ray remote. Speaking as someone who has all of the current console systems, at the moment there isn't much game-wise out for the PS3 that I care about. I hope for that to eventually change. When/if that does change, I will probably just hang onto the one Sixaxis controller that I have now and get a Dualshock 3 to have two controllers in total. It's rare that I have tons of people over to play games, so there's not much of a reason for me to buy up to 4 controllers, and so I think I could get by with the combo of one of each.
This poll really should have had more options (i.e. instead of "replacing" existing controllers, just buying new ones in addition to any that are already owned, etc.) |

I also imported my ds3 a while ago, the battery life on my ds3 is actually better than my sixaxis. I don't know if it is because I had the sixaxis from launch and it is older or not. The ds3 is definently worth getting. I enjoy warhawk so much more with it. I wish cod4 would implement rumble.

i've got 2 sixaxis and 1 DS3, any controllers i get from now on wil be DS3 as well. my original sixaxis will still be fine backup controllers for when batteries die or the rare occasion that an extra controller is needed for multiplayer.
