Hello Everyone. This is my first post on Blu-ray.com. Does anyone have any info. on if there will be a Pirates of the Caribbean boxed set to be released? Thanks in advance for any info.

Not at this moment. However, I know that one will be released in France. It wouldn't surprise me if it will be released everywere.

Welcome to the forums.

So far there is no word from Disney about a Pirates Blu Ray boxset. However I wouldn't rule it out completely, just keep your eyes peeled for any news. I think that if they did release a Pirates box set, it would be closer to the Christmas season. Your best bet would be to check around for sales and pick them up that way.

The individual releases are great, why wait for Disney to make a box to put all 3 movies in? If you're a fan, buy them now. You won't regret it.

Just curious...Did Disney ever recall all the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (framing error)...I've always wanted to buy the first one but wasn't sure if i'll end up with the first version or corrected one.

Yes, there's no identifier known on outside packaging. The do replace the discs quickly however
