Any chance of Multi PCM over Toslink?
I have an Onkyo 505 (not enough research
 ) with a 40GB PS3.And of course the PS3 can only send 2 channels of uncompressed audio via optical toslink due to bandwidth limitations. However I read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOSLINK that Toslink can now support up to 125Mbit/s. Any hope a firmware upgrade could allow that or do I have buy a 605? |
