Would You Buy a PS4?

If it's ever released, quite honestly....no. I just don't think it's worth the money. PS3 delivers pretty much all I'd ever want or need, so a PS4 would just be a hassle.

I had a PS1, PS2 and a PS3.
Some people say will say that it has technology that will only be obselete within a year or two. They will also say the 1199 price tag is too much for a "game" system. They will say that the Xbox 720 has everything you need and has "real" games. They will say the Blu Ray upscalling is not true 2160P.
But I will still buy one because history has proven it to be a reliable future proof machine that kicks ass!

i said the same thing you said when i bought the very first playstation.....and then i said it again when i bought the ps2....and here i am with a ps3 saying the same thing......4 years from now when the ps4 is released....i will be camping in the target parking lot with a wad of money in my pocket

Hell yes, but the thing they'll have to figure out is what media they will put games on...
Playstation- CD's
PS2- DVD's
PS3- Blu-rays
Do you think something new will be out then? Also, I don't think it will come out until probably 2012 so I'm not worried about it now.

Microsoft will never make hardware anywhere nearly as good as Sony.
MS doesn't even make very good software they just have a marketing stranglehold over the competition. Bill Gates is a master at stealing other peoples ideas and products, making them worse with intentional flaws and omissions and buying out the competitors, stifling technological advancement.
Next time I'll tell you how I really feel rather than holding back so much.

If they change that God awful fugly controller of theres then yes there is a possiblity I'd get one.

Especially if its at the right price and sony demonstrates that it actually has some decent games...

But who am I kiddin? The xbox 720 or w/e MS decides to call their gaming rig will probably be destorying it in that arena so I'll just enjoy that along with the next gen Nintendo system

Depends on what technology it packs. Main and only reason I bought the PS3 was to play BD's. That's it. Everything else it does is a bonus. It was and still is the BEST BD player choice on the market. That's why I own two of them.

If the PS4 has some super sweet format that blows me away like BD did - then I will consider it. I also need to consider the stupid ass controller they have. Sorry guys - but Sony's controller sucks ass. I have played with the Xbox 360 controller and it feels so much better. The PS3 controller makes my hands go numb - anyone else get that? It hurts to use it as well. So, I don't play games.

The 360 controller gives me hand cramps. I have no such issue with the PS3 controller.

In short, stop saying "Controller X sucks", as if it's a fact, because that is entirely dependent upon the user. There is no perfect controller, there is no terrible controller.

And, my hands are so large that I couldn't even use the damn Dreamcast controller's "Ergonomic" design properly.

If you know how big a Dreamcast controller is however, my knuckle was not in the right place to bend my fingers into the ergonomic finger slot.

If I tried I'd have severe pain in my hands really fast, so I basically had to loosely hold the stupid thing from the outside.

I cringe when I hear "Ergonomic" applied to anything that's not tailored to the individual, there is no such thing as an "Ergonomic" for all device.

I agree with the Ergonomic comment. Seems like anything "ergonomic" tends to put my body out of whack.

The DC controller was crap to start with so I am sure we can all agree - it was a CRAP controller
