honestly, i have been a UT fan since the beginning of time (man the frag fests in the dorms were awesome). anyway, i don't care if it is going to the 360 since i'll be playing on a pc. playing resistance is hard enough on the ps3, i can only imagine how UT will be unless you can map a keyboard and mouse. besides the fact, the 360 has a good chance to blow up given the insane frame rates and engines being used unless they dummy it down... in which case i'll want to be on the pc anyway

I agree, I still prefer FPS on PC no matter what... It's funny too to see Xbox360 fan boys laughing and gloating on the news4gamers.com comment tho.

Is that really a surprise? Epic aren't exclusive to any format, so it was only a matter of time before the game turned up on other formats. This time round more and more games will be all formats. It makes financial sense for the companies to put a title on as many formats as possible to recoup the cost of making modern games.

true... but more goes into developing games and we want good games written for a specific platform and not some dumbed down port.

If that is the case, then UT should be fine, as it is designed for OpenGL, and it will be optimised for the Cell architecture.

MS said they never planned on having m+k support for the 360. I guess the ps3 will be the only system (besides pc) that will benefit from this awesome feature.

Maybe ps3 ppl will be able to face off against pc people and it will be equal.

Maybe, but don't count on PS3 vs. PC for this game or any other, any time soon.

The PS3 folks would NEED to have KBM support to have a chance against PC opponents, who would be wasting them with ease if they're stuck with control pads against KBM.

No one using a control pad has a chance against an even halfway decent player using a keyboard and a mouse in a game like this.

Very True. As much as I love Unreal Tournament and my PS3, if that game doesn't come with KBM support, i will not buy the game. Why play a game you can't control what you're doing ??

That's good, because that's the only way I could imagine playing a twitch gaming, uber fast FPS like this game.

Beyond that, though: We all don't know yet if they're going to allow for PS3 vs. PC players...do we?

Honestly I not excited in one bit to play my first 360 game that will let me play with PC games.. 360 gamers on average will get killed.. Super high framerates versus 30fps or lower with screen tearing, keyboard and mouse versus dual analog (I love dual analog but I'm not naive enough to know that Keyboard and mouse has a huge advantage). The playing field will no longer be level which is the entire reason my friend as well as others have left the PC gaming arena and moved towards consoles.
