Default Chuck coming to Blu-ray?

I saw this on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Chuck-Blu-ray-...3025838&sr=1-5

I want to get this show on DVD, but have anyone heard anything about the Blu-Ray release (other than the Amazon page)?

I think a lot of those Amazon things are automatically inserted based on search results, so unfortunately Amazon isnt a good place to find that stuff out.

Still, I'd love to see this one happen. Love the show, and would definitely buy.

If not, I guess I'll pick up the Chuck DVD version along with the Pushing Daisies Blu-Ray set.

Just checked IMDB, and Warner is behind the home video release for Chuck. WB seems to be good with TV releases, so I wouldnt count it out just yet.

There is no official release date for Chuck on Blu-ray. I like the show and I'll buy it once it's release on Blu-ray.

considering Warner made a big lot of announcements all in the same timeframe: chuck dvd, sarah connor dvd and blu, pushing daisies dvd and blu, gossip girl dvd, supernatural dvd, smallville dvd and blu, and a few others

I think it's safe to say we aren't getting Chuck season 1 on blu this year.

Oh, I hadnt heard about the Chuck DVD announcment, so I was assuming since i did NOT come with the others, we might hear something if the Chuck DVD was something recent.

But now that I know it was around the same time, you're probably right.

I thought Chuck was announced for Blu-ray along with Heroes Seasons 1 & 2... I'll be picking all three seasons up in August.

"Chuck" is a WB show, "Heroes" is a Universal show, so any announcement "alongside" would have been purely coincidental.

However, "Chuck" was announced for DVD some time back with no mention of a Blu-ray version...

Chuck would be great if it came out on blu, but I don't think we will see it for a little while yet.

Common misconception (which happens to be a pet peeve of mine )... most notably being the assumption that "House, M.D." is a Fox show when it's a Universal show.

WB lost me as a customer on this set. I'm refusing to buy the dvd set of Chuck. I would have picked it up without hesitation on Blu-ray.

No idea why it wasn't announced way back with the other stuff, but it's now officially coming to Blu-ray the same day it's hitting DVD.

I'll be buying this if Warner corrects the Speed Racer mistake. If not, than my Warner boycott shall continue.

TVShowsOnDVD

EDIT - sorry, I misread the article originally. It's not coming on the same day as the DVD.

According to the above link it's another TV series released with lossy audio by Warner. Great.

Let's hope this is just an omission in the listed specs they change their lazy "good enough" habits sooner rather than later.
