Default Current Movies!!!

I dont wish to upset anybody , but I wish there were a few more current movies coming out on Bluray. I am getting the feeling that the studios are doing the triple dip thing big time. I am finding it hard to get excited about " new" releases of films that are nothing but old! Sure, some are classics but they are still, old. I have bought them once already on SD DVD. Just my thoughts.

Well, I think I know what you mean.

That said, just stay patient. Studios usually re-release a bunch of oldies or classics first; in hope of creating an interest for the general public before they go all out on a new format. I am cool with what they are doing so far. Just stay patient.

Right. The catalog titles need to come out, eventually, so that a broader audience will support the format. I don't think the studios are trying to "triple-dip" here.

From what I understand, it takes a bit longer to make the blu-ray, than it does a DVD. So, if anything, the release of films on sDVD would be suffereing, in my opinion.
