BonusView - Blu-ray Forum

Just wondering... how could I get BonusView for my Blu-Ray player? I've got Batman begins, but I can't play BV. I have a Panasonic DMP-BD10A Blu-ray player. thanks for the help!

Err - you would have to get a new player. The Panasonic 10 is only Profile 1.0. The Panasonic 30 is 1.1. The Panasonic 50 coming out soon is 2.0. Unless you had a PS3, though, which is updatable. BonusView is 1.1. BD-Live is 2.0. Standard spec is 1.0 - which is what you have.

It can't be upgradeable through firmware, Rikana (Rekana?). Not on any player except for the Playstation. I exchanged my Panasonic 10AK for a Panasonic 30 as soon as they were released. (sold it by now, though)

Alas, Bonus View and BD-Live are impossible for the Panny 10AK.
