When playing a 7.1 HD Audio program like DTS-HD Master 7.1 (The Golden Compass) what happens to the rear channel information when the Denon is configured as a 5.1 Analog with no rears inputting into a 5.1 analog surround receiver.
Is the Denon mixing the rear channel information into the side? Something is causing this distortion. When I configure the Denon with rears even through I do not have rears, the rear audio data goes into the bit bucket and these 7.1 BD's play fine. I have been getting some strange audio loud and distorted when playing 7.1 BD's with this configuration. |
