Default PS3 Controller Problem

MY ps3 controller is acting up, its a sixaxis. The D-Pad is not responding when you just press it but if you put some force it goes all over the place. Same with both analog sticks.

I think its just worn out. What do you think?

happened to me

I found it was fixable wear and tear. Just get something thin and long and get all of the dust out of the controller around the AS and D pad

Didn't quite have the same issue but, I found that I was having controller issues. What I discovered was that the charging device I had hooked up to the PS3 that I put my controllers on to charge, was causing interference. It was effecting the direction pad and the analog stick. If you have one, try unhooking it and see if your controller works better.

I usually just hook the controller to the console to charge it.
