Pioneer LX70a bluray firmware - Blu-ray Forum

Does anybody know when the next firmware for the said player is due? I currently have the latest which is 3.27. Thanks guys

I recently downloaded firmware 3.50 (available since 15 April) onto my Pioneer BDP-LX70A blu-ray player. This firmware version has playback problems with Avatar. The previous version did not have playback problems so do not install this firmware.

The Avatar blu-ray has the possibility to resume playback. This works fine with the previous player firmware but with version 3.50 the player freezes after a selection is made to resume or not. Since this resume option does not appear the first time you watch Avatar playback can be fine then.
