PS3 Picture keeps flickering and going blank!

I Have a Hyundai HLT-3010 connected to my 60GB PS3 via a 4Gamers HD Component cable displaying in HD. every so often the picture will flicker and sometime black out and a message will come up saying Out of Range or No signal. usually the picture will come straight back on but sometimes it takes a up to a minute. the sound which is connected to my home cinema system via optical out stays on.

ive also notice that when the fridge in the room clicks off the speakers of my home cinema system make a loud popping noise. this make me think it could be an electrical problem. however when i tell the ps3 to output via compostite in SD there is no flicker.

i also have a Sky digibox connected to the same tv via scart and about after 30 second the picture cuts out but with no flicker but the sound remains. the only way to make the picture come back is turninng the tv off and on again the after another 30 secs the same thing happens. but it only happens twice then it is fine.

any suggestions how to fix it?
