Hy Guys im new on this forum but was just wondering whats your take on D65 Callibration for movies such as Ratatouille and other animated flicks!
i know it looks great for movies but im not so sure about animation, everything looks to warm if you no what i mean, allso is it best to have the sharpness on your tv right down, as i did have it right down but then one time while watching i robot decided to turn it right up and the detail in will smiths face looked even better! thanks guys n gals. Animated films are no different from regular films. Tons of thought goes in to color, lighting, and the look of everything in the movie. To a level of deatail even greater than most live action films.
If you think its necessary to calibrate for live-action films, it is AT LEAST as necessary to calibrate for animation. |
