Exclamation Rating acceptable performance for Sony BDP-S30x

I cut-n-past some of this from the main thread as I am hoping for more feedback.

Standalone BDP-S30x owners should remember these are second generation tanks, and they pretty much run like one. These are slower chip sets, not Play Station 3's.

If the 4.20 firmware loads BD-J movies under 90 seconds consider it "normal and acceptable for a tank". Let us be grateful it now supports Dolby(r) TrueHD Audio.

Unlike the mixed results I have seen from the older firmwares, 4.20 not only loads movies faster, the menus are smoother and more responsive. All BD-J loading records are being shattered. Some by a wide margin, others by mere seconds.

Standards of acceptable performance levels should be expected for these blu-ray player "tanks", because they can be slower. In short, we need a standard of measure.

Here is my suggested "Load Time Performance Table".
Consider 90 seconds and under as the tolerable sweet spot.

* Non BD-J loading in 35 seconds or less. Excellent.
* BD-J up to 75 seconds. Very Good.
* BD-J 76 to 90 seconds. Good. (Tolerable Threshold)
* BD-J 91 to 100 seconds. Very Fair
* BD-J 101 to 120 seconds. Fair.
* BD-J over 120 seconds. Poor.
* BD-J over 180 seconds. Very Poor.

Thoughts?
