Default Is something wrong with me???

I got transformers on tuesday, and its been almost 1 week since i had it and i still havent watched it. I opened it, put it in the blu ray player and was going to watch it later that day, but never got around to it. I havent even been busy, just didnt feel like watching it. The strange part is, i loved transformers.

The same thing with Nightmare before christmas, got it the same day as transformers and havent even opened it, and that one of my favorites!!!!

Dont know why, but this is bothering me. Normally, i watch new blu's the day i get them.

So I thought of what could be wrong:
Is the "hype" of blu ray now boring for me???? (I dont think this one is true because i wont even watch tv if its not HD)

Am I so sick of seeing bad movies in the theater (pinapple express, clone wars, indy 4, mummy 3) that i dont even want to watch good ones???

Any Ideas???

Go build a shack in the Montana Mountains. Cut yourself off from the world. Prepare for the nuclear holocaust.

Definitely sick! Take 2 ibuprofen with lots of water and call it an early night.
Make sure you don't have a fever as well!

I'm sure you've heard of the saying -- 'The thrill is in the hunt' .... for some of us, the anticipation & effort involved in procuring an object may be so exhilirating and rewarding that once we obtain said object, it's almost anti-climatic. I've gone thru this process on many titles in amassing my BD/HDDVD/SDDVD collection.

Default I get the same thing

I rented American Gangster and never watched. I put it in my ps3 but i didn't watch it. I don't know if its lazyness or being bored. Hopefully the Dark Knight or Bourne trilogy Blu will change That. Or i might need to see a doctor

i agree Half Baked felt like there was actually a script and something to go along with it Pineapple Express hardly had that feeling to it almost like just typical stuff you would find in the real world. but anyways back on subject if you feel that way just watch bits and pieces like if you have a tv show on blu-ray just watch 1 episode a day or something like that and with movies just watch like 30 minutes and then long break then go back

To the OP: Yes, something is wrong with you. Something has CHANGED in you. It could be your priorities or your needs but watching movies is not IT for now. So STOP BUYING until you're ready to watch what you buy.

I LOVE TRANSFORMERS but I feel we've fell victim to "over"hype or saturation perhaps from tv, hdtv broadcasts, or having waited so long why can't it wait a little bit more. I haven't gotten my copy yet and I don't know if I'm rearing to run out and go buy it when its available.

There is nothing Wrong with you. We are collectors of Blu Ray movies. Sometimes we watch them. And sometimes we have the GREAT thrill of buying them and adding them to our sacred collection. If we watch them right away good. If we want to go to the pool, see a concert, or just go for a walk........GREAT ! The great thing is that when we live life. WE know, deep down. our sacred blu ray collection AWAITS ! For that, "rainy" day. Don't forget to "see" what collectors "do" with their collections. For me I sit back count my blu rays. Lood forward to NEW blu rays. And have a great time doing it ! And I "watch" them as well. Inside the case ! And OUTSIDE the case when the glory of blu plays !

Nah, you are fine. I have some Blu-ray's I've had close to a year that I haven't watched yet. Many are catalogue titles I've seen many times so wasn't in a rush to watch right away and never have gotten to it. Transformers has ALOT of hype attached to it not only from the movie standpoint but from what happened right before its release last year and HDDVD/Paramount pulling the rug out from under us before release. Do me a favor though, NAY...do yourself a favor and at the very least skip to the MEGAN FOX scenes!!!!!!!

There is definitely something wrong with you, but I think it has to do more with not being a real TransFan. The sooner you come to terms with that, the better you'll begin to feel.

Well, I don't think there is anything wrong.

I was HD DVD exclusive before just recently buying into BD and I bought Transformers when it first came out on HD DVD.

I couldn't even get through half of the movie. Turned it off. Waste of money IMO. Lots of hype and just not very good.

Have no plans to buy it on BD, that's for sure.
