Default SONY BDP-S350 and the RESUME feature

Like many of you I am sure, I have spent quite a bit of worthless time with the online chat/support asking about the RESUME feature on the BDP-S350.

I explained to them that on some discs with heavy java content, like National Treasure 2 ... I can press stop, yes... only once, and when I hit play not only does it not go to the point I stopped but it goes to the beginning of the disc and I have to advance through all the promo movies/etc to even get the privilege of loading the movie again!

I was asking if there is some setting I need to change... or update I need to wait for and download (I have downloaded the newest ver 010 recently, no help)...

OR MAYBE do all blu-ray players function this way? if yes, then WHY? if no, then why does the one *I* pick to buy have this "wonderful feature"?

Someone please help!
