Default "I Spent a Lot of Money"

I saw this in a recent thread, and I thought it'd be funny to create a a thread for this. So, the topic is simple: Name a time you spent WAY too much money on blus. Plead your case, victims.

As for me, this is definitely my worst month.

- Terminator 2
- 300
- The Prestige
- Dragonball z: History of Trunks
- Iron Man
- Eraser
- HD Sampler
- Transformers
- Sleeping Beauty
- Matrix Collection
- Constantine

If I didn't have a wedding/honeymoon to be saving for I'd probably be spending way more right now, and I've still bought 4 this month (Sleeping Beauty, Iron Man, L.A. Confidential and 40 Year Old Virgin). January '08 though was probably my worst time. I think I probably bought around 15 or so, but then again June I probably spent more money because I also bought the Dirty Harry Boxset.

Two orders come to mind for me

On 09/23/2008 total of 112.30, BOGO at Columbia House I couldn't help but buy a bunch of titles I had been wanting! I only went with 10 BDs, at first I was going to get like 30

Condemned 0.00
Crank 22.46
Italian Job 0.00
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 22.46
Mummy 0.00
Mummy Returns 22.46
Scorpion King 0.00
Sleepy Hollow 22.46
Transporter 0.00
Transporter 2 22.46

and this order placed on 09/03/2008 total 211.85
Beetlejuice 18.87
Body Heat 16.07
Constantine 16.07
Interview with the Vampire 16.07
Superman Returns 18.83
Torchwood: The Complete First Season 55.97
Ultimate Matrix Collection 69.97

Bunch of Warner pre-orders. I don't feel bad about that order one bit! Very happy with every title (well, except for Interview with the Vampire)

I got my PS3 less than a year ago (black Friday '07) to be exact and since then I've bought more than a 100 Blu-rays, so every month has been a struggle . My biggest jump, however, was back when Amazon was doing the BOGOs and I did two ~$200 orders within a week or two.

There were a few release days where I bought 10+ blu-rays but I can no longer remember the specific titles and don't have any idea what the total for the particular month was.

I don't think that anything is ever going to compare to my DVD purchases during what I call "bloody November" back in 2002. Band of Brothers, Babylon 5 Season 1, LOTR:FOTR Extended, another ST:TNG season... plus a bunch of single disc titles. It was brutal on the wallet.
