Default Poltergeist - weird edit or a problem?

Hi..

I got my UK release of Poltergeist today

I have a feeling it's the same disc as the one in the USA as instead of the usual UK style warnings and disclaimers at the beginning... there is the USA style anti-piracy "5 Years in Federal Prison - $250,000 fine" etc... which up until now i have only ever seen on my USA released & imported discs

Anyway... There is this quite weird moment in the movie at about 34 minutes 14 seconds...

The movie seems to 'skip' out of a scene before it's finished (in the middle of some dialogue) and straight into the next scene (which also seems to miss the first couple of seconds of dialogue)

Now it's been a long long time since i last saw this movie, so i've no idea if this is 'normal'

Also i'm totally sure that the disc is not skipping

So, as the topic title asks...

Is this just a very weird edit in the movie... or have Warner messed up the encode some how?

at the moment i'm inclined to feel this could be yet another Warner movie that we will have to wait for a fix
