HTIB receiver with small footprint?

Hello everyone - I've been reading here for a while, but have finally found a need to post. I have a Samsung HL-T5687SAX TV, and just got an LG BD300 Blu-ray player. I am looking to get a decent HTIB, but I don't have much room for a receiver. You should be able to tell what I'm working with. The LG BD300 is 11" deep, 16.9" wide, and 2.3" tall. It works great where it is, but anything much deeper would not. I could put the receiver on the other side, but I'm afraid most of them are too tall. I was looking at the Onkyo HT-SR600, but the receiver is 17 1/8"w x 5 7/8"h x 14 1/2"d. Any ideas? Thanks!
