Universal Announces a Bunch More - Blu-ray Forum

I guess this was expected since they are somewhat behind on getting 100 titles out this year.

From what I can tell though this means that HD DVD has more announced titles than BD!

Anyways, these are the titles:

With the possible exception of "Meaning of Life", nothing there I would buy. Meanwhile a couple must-have BDs coming out in the next month, let alone the June timeframe.

Release catalog titles like that is only to keep the movie enthusiast early adopter happy.

Title with DVD that can be pick up for <5$ at discount bin won't sell players.

There is really is nothing in the list that makes me want any of those titles.

These were already announced earlier. I'm not sure why they're bringing them up again now. I think the only difference now is that they have actual release dates. I could be mistaken...

That really is a poor poor listining. Meet Joe Black is the only one I would buy and some other movies I enjoy but certainly nothing I would be rushing out to buy.

I am suprised they do not trickle out a bid title here and there to peak peoples intrest in hddvd but who knows maybe they know what they are doing and maybe the don't

Most of the titles are crap, there is not one title I would buy even if it were on blu-ray. In fact, I have no interest in anything Universal has released yet. HD-DVD and Universal deserve one another-both duds!

I love reading how everything says the titles suck and maybe 90% of them do but I bet anything if they were on blu ray alot of you people would be changing your tune. Most of you guys buy anything just cause it's a blu ray disc. Like anyone who has to buy The Pursuit of Happyness or The Holiday obviously has some buying addiction and would also be found buying Mystery Men or Liar Liar if they were on blu ray. Stop with the bitterness of not being able to own Universal films...and I'm all for blu ray by the way but this is the hand we've been dealt

I disagree just so happens that Universal has very few movies that I'm interested in. In my entire DVD collection have maybe 15 Universal-and yes I would love to see Universal release Blu-ray only because it could help end this rediculous HD format war.

I would buy about 3 or 4 of these, but I can definitely wait 'til 2008 for these (when Universal will probably start putting out BD titles).

no...I'm saying that alot of the new movies coming out for BD blow these away...

after getting Casino Royale on BD and then hearing about the upcoming movies like POTC etc......the Universal titles being exclusive aren't putting out the same firepower...

same here....in my 150+ DVD collection....I have maybe 3 Universal movies....
