Default Using my TV as computer monitor

I've got a Powerbook G4 but when I hook it up to my TV it won't expand and fill up the entire screen size. It takes up maybe 2/3rd the size of the TV. Is is possible my pbook doesn't support a very high resolution that will fill up the screen? Thanks.

Did you change the resolution on the Powerbook? It needs to be one of the suported resolutions of the TV. 1280x1024 should fill up most of the screen on the TV.

If you are using HDMI:

* The 1080p timing when applied to the HDMI input will be treated as a video timing and not PC timing. This affects PICTURE settings, WIDE MODE settings, and PIP function. To view PC content set Picture Mode to Custom, Wide Mode to Full, and Display Area to Full Pixel.

Not sure I'd like to see my PC desktop on my TV.
I have a 19" computer screen and when I will buy a new computer next year or the year after, I will get a 24" screen but I will not hook it up to my 52" TV set.

I am not using HDMI. The reason why I want to hook it up is for when I have downloaded movies and want to watch it on my bigger screen. Thanks for the help.

Did you try changing the resolution on the computer to a different output? Does the laptop even know it's hooked up to a TV versus a monitor? Check to see if you can change the settings for monitor 2 only that way you don't have to keep changing it back and forth every time you unplug it from the TV.
