Default Speaker Placement

Well, first let me just say that I scored at tweeter today (at least I think so). I picked up a pair of Klipsch Reference Speakers and a Klipsch Reference Center channel and love the sound I am getting. Very Rich sounding and compared to my bose, I think I just busted a nu...nevermind

Anyway, while I wait for myself to finish my basement/home theatre project, I'm an impatient fool and want to hook these up in place of the bose. The problem is they are bulky, along with a big tv in a small living room.

My tv is in the corner so the right side has little to no room. (Bose is great for this part) then the left I have some room. I can go maybe a foot off the ground with the left/right. The center my only options are either in front of the tv (not directly under) or above the tv, not directly in line with the front of tv. Any tips for corner placement out there?

I'm honestly thinking of getting a cheap shelf, mounting the shelf to the studs 1 foot off the floor and putting the speakers on that as a makeshift stand. Then the same for the center. When basement is done, I will return walls to original shape.
