as for me i have my surrounds at -1db and -5db, and my sub is at -1db.

That little pause at the end there, right before he said it, made me chuckle. I had my speakers calibrated with the Onkyo Audyssey mic and haven't touched the settings since because it sounds perfect to me. Personally, I'm afraid to have my sub turned up too loud because I have neighbors right below me.
