Walmart in my town seems a little rough any day. I wasn't going to go there today. (This isn't my town but WalMart can attract some stressed out people.)

Not likely, or at least difficult. Though I'm sure it was captured on video.

thats what i was thinking. if somebody used a credit card or a check, you could find out fairly easily who the person was.

Wow. Thats even worse that what happened at the US PS3 launch. I can't believe someone got killed in the incident. All because nowadays, we're too cheap.

Heh, if I didn't know better, he probably would've lived had Wal Mart provided health care, like they should.

All I can say is thank God for the internet. Got up at 3 am for the Amazon sale, then went to Walmart.com, Sears.com, Bestbuy.com and JCPenneys.com and got almost all of my Christmas shopping done. Didn't have to deal with any of that nonsense, and was back in bed by 4:30.

Walmart should be held liable for putting its employees at risk. Everyone knows that during BF, people are stupid and act like animals. What makes them think they are the exception?

Crap like this should be banned. There is NO excuse for any human being to act like an ass on BF. Period. You would think we as the higher life form on the planet would behave a little different. I guess in the end, we are nothing more than domesticated animals with a wallet.

it's terrible yet true. to think someone who got up one morning and came in early to work ended up dead as a result of society's desire to buy discounted merchandise is appalling.

Thumbs down

I know the store that this happen at out in Valley Stream Long Island and its a pretty big store so I can imagine the amount of people that was there.
Wal-mart should have at least used some sort of system instead of just have people crowding the door.

This is a tragedy. I imagine that what happened was the people rushed the doors or entrance and knocked over something very heavy like the plate glass doors (which weigh in the hundreds of pounds) on top of the worker. I hope he died quickly.

Yeah an article reported that they removed the doors from the hinges. The worker was trying to hold the crowd back.

Isn't that breaking and entering?

Not sure who to blame in this honestly. The more I think about it, the more I would like to go after some of the idiots that caused the problem to start with. It's called decency and decorum. Both were lacking in this instance by ANYONE who was in that crowd. Then I blame WM second for NOT taking precautions to start with. ESPECIALLY knowing FULL WELL what could happen. It's all over youtube from years past. So, you can't sit there and say WE DIDN'T KNOW! Don't think so.

I would love to get my hands on some of those idiots that were at the front gate. Beat the sh!t out of them. Would not come close to what they actually deserve.

ALL for the sake of saving MAYBE $20 bux. If that.
