what is the policy with games will they take back games if it has been open?

Costco is well known for having a pretty liberal return policy, even on open and used items. My wife and I have returned items that malfunction after after several months of use and had no problems with exchanges or refunds.

However, I have had no personal experience returning open media, so take this with a grain of salt.
