Audio Output - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,

Is it better to have audio output set to PCM or (I forgot the other one)?

PCM if you are using HDMI for sound........BITSTREAM if you are using optical.

Remember to let the PS3 automatically detect the PCM sampling range first.

Then report back to us and give us a review.

Hey WriteSimply,

I just got my receiver in. The speakers I was going to use won't reach across the room. I might buy new speakers, or I might get speaker extension wire. Once I get everything together I'll review for ya.

Don't rush in buying speakers especially since you JUST got a new receiver. Try extending the wires. It's not ideal but you gotta work with what you got.

Yeah, good point. Someone told me since the speakers are powered it will not be good to use with a receiver?

Well then it'd be like your Creative speakers, which are PC speakers.
