couple questions about lite-on external drive - Blu-ray Forum

im about to order this drive for my laptop 2.4 ghz core 2 duo 8600 gt. i have windows xp sp2 with no updates because of genuine windows issues.

anyways my question is will it run on my computer with the power dvd 7.3 software that comes with it. Are my graphic card drivers hdcp compatable(im not sure what hdcp is but i keep seeing warnings about it from different posts) also will it work hooking it up to my samsung hdtv by vga or by a dvi to hdmi adapter. basically will everything run smoothly if i buy this drive. thanks
(also will there be any issues that its only usb)

Download cyberlink advisor. It will scan your comp and tell you if everything is going to do what you want it to do
