No difference 1080i/1080p on BD?? - Blu-ray Forum

I just want to make sure I'm not misleading people here in my replies. I know I am a noob, but is there any difference in picture quality from 1080p BD players displayed on 1080i TVs versus 1080p TVs? Doesn't the player add extra frames for a 1080p movie so that there is no difference when displayed on a 1080i TV versus a 1080p TV? Thanks-
