U-571 Detail Questions - Blu-ray Forum

I went to bestbuy the other day and I seen U-571 on a blu-ray preview thing. It had a short clip while they are getting a leak and they are covered in water. The level of detail was amazing and I'm just wondering if that was that short clip was not actually the movie but a scene just to make the movie look good. Is there actually that kind of detail on u-571?

I will be playing it on a Sony S350 Blu-ray player with HDMI to my TV. (47" Insignia 1080P)

i bought u-571 recently and the movie is fantastic the pq. and the sound are amazing and yes the leak scene really exist as part of the movie in fact there are many leak on that sub due to the pounding it take during the entire movie. so...buy this movie the story is not accurate but the action is non-stop.... great movie.

The picture quality is good; I'd give it about a 7.5 or 8. The DTS-MA track is outstanding.

Excellent PQ and AQ. I haven't look into what really happened on that sub, but I did enjoy the movie.

Well worth picking up. Good movie and the picture and sound are really good (especially the sound).

U-571 has an incredible soundtrack, for PQ I'd give it an 8. There's are plenty of scenes with great detail and clarity. The inside of the sub and docks look great with lots of detail.
