How do I update the firmware in my Sony BDP-S350?

Download the update, burn AN IMAGE of it on to a disc.

Finalize the disc.

Insert into your player and go eat.

Don't watch it work because you will go nuts not knowing if it is done or not.
I say this because your player will turn off...stay off...then go on....then the tray will open....then close...maybe...then some stuff will happen.

Bottom line, wait 'till it reads DL-Okay.

hook it up to the net via ethernet.. then follow the link for firmware above.. or burn a cd with the update.. some cd burners will work some wont. you can also request an update cd from Sony.

Easiest is to hook it up with an ethernet cable and select the Update Feature from the Settings menu.
