Question Ferrite Core??

what exactly does that mean and is there any difference/performance issue from non ferrite core to having a ferrite core?

In regards to what- a cable?

Specifically, the ferrite core is the large "knob" in some cables that's used to keep the signal clean and remove interference. Check the wiki:

I have one HDMI that has one and one that doesn't. It certainly doesn't hurt anything to have one but I can't say that having one specifically helps me. If they're about the same price, I'd get one with it, but I wouldn't knock myself out trying to find one that has it.

You can buy them separately and add them to your cables to reduce interference. Parts Express is a good source.
