ONKYO speaker setup HELP! - Blu-ray Forum

i have a 606 two monitor 50's and cs2 center what are the best settings for the 606 i have hooked up hdmi bitstream i did audessey set up but it was to low for me i tried to switch settings but it doesnt sound right to me if some one can help me with the best settings on this receiver any help i would be totally greatful

You might need to tweak the settings after the audessey setup I know I did and also what bd player are you using?

OP, just in case you have not seen this, please read the Audyssey Setup Guide at: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...5#post14456895

Make sure that you ran (or rerun) Audyssey exactly as described.

What sounds "wrong"? What kind of player do you have?

Typically you'll want to start at a crossover point of 80hz for speakers that size. Personally, that's what I run mine at, so I'm sure that'd be a good setting for you. If you don't have a subwoofer, that's kind of moot I guess.

i have a panny bd35 its set to bitstream with surround encoded as for my speakers the 50s are -4db i believe and the cs2 is +2db it sounds good but just not good as i would hope im looking for some recomindations for personel settings for this kind of setup thanks for any input im still learning so bear with me
