I think most will say Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn. I can't narrow it down like that, I don't have one favorite. My favorites include Wrath of Kahn, The Voyage Home, The Undiscovered country, Generations and First Contact.

Most likely you will have the answer of The Wrath Of Khan.

My favorite are :

The Wrath Of Khan **
Voyage Home
The Undiscovered Country **
First Contact

** these two, both by director Nicholas Meyer are probably the best Star Trek films ever.

As a story arch:
The Wrath Of Khan
Search for Spock
Voyage Home (the Best)

This loosely fits in:

The Undiscovered Country

Best TNG film, well there is only one good one:

I REALLY don't like Star Trek, but did actually enjoy those two. I had friends drag me to them all, otherwise I never would have seen them.

The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home. Since it's a story arc it really is like a six-hour movie. Besides these, The Undiscovered Country.

I am a fan of Kahn but the top is definitely:

The Undiscovered Country

"Bones! Where is my torpedo?"

"Lock and load Jim"

"On my mark.... *Shatner over acting* Fire!"

"To be... or not to be"
