Buy as much 12 gauge wire as you need from monoprice.... for instance, if you think you'd need 100 feet total, go with this ....
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 If you want to go in-wall you'd need something like this http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 As far as banana plugs... they're basically just for convenience..... although some would say they provide an audible improvement..... if ou're going to lose the signal between the wire/speaker, you'd be just as likely to lose it between the wire/plug.... But for the cost of them, I'd just get them if I were you ![]() http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 |

Well in order to properly bi-amp you need 2 seperate outputs on your receiver. It honestly makes no sense to bi-amp if you have only one set of outputs for the right, center, or left speaker. In this case you'd be putting 2 sets of wire (4 wires total) to one set of outputs.

And to the OP..... I wouldn't waste your time Bi-Amping, although many here swear by it for some reason or another...... Most of the speakers in question have the build quality of a Yugo..... you wouldn't put High-Octane in a Yugo (and that would probably yield more noticeable results than Bi-Amping many of these speakers) EDIT: wasn't speaking of your speakers..... just in "general" with many of the recommendations here..... I just got back from the bar when I posted that....so it came out kinda rude, but wasn't intended as such. Last edited by Beta Man; 02-14-2009 at 09:17 PM. |
