Default conditioner UPS for tv or something else?

I have recently obtained a pretty sweet UPS power system from Powervar, but it can only handle output of about 300 watts. Having said that, what would be the best thing to plug into it? My receiver is 110 watts per channel, so I would assume that is out of the question. I'm contemplating plasma and PS3, but I have no idea of power ratings for those, so I'd have to do some digging. I'm naive in the area of volts, amps, watts. I'm also most likely going to get an APC H15 eventually, but would still like to put this Powervar unit to use, or maybe just sell it. Thoughts?

Uninterupted power supplies(UPS) are best for products that could suffer damage or data loss from a blackout or brown out. In your case, the only thing listed that may suffer data loss is the ps3. If you have a dvr or tivo, you should attach that as well or even a computer. You could attach the plasma until you get a power conditioner, but it is not likely to be damaged by a power failure.

if your tv has fans that stay on after your power off to cool the unit down,,then a power outtage can cause problems. No data loss like you would get with a computer or such, but if the fans don't stay on when the power goes out the TV can overheat and cause long term problems with the electornic component. Not sure if plasma or LCD would have this issue. I know its an issue with bulbs in DLP tvs.

More of an issue with bulb-based displays like Front and Rear projection.

let me re-phrase this: I really could care less about the UPS portion of this unit, I wanted it because of the voltage management, noise reduction, and the AC>DC>AC power cleaning. So forget that it is even a UPS altogether, I just want the cleanest power going to some of my components. Wish it could kick out more power, but it doesn't, so I'm limited as to what I can connect.

Before using a UPS as a power conditionning unit for electronic appliances, you need to be sure that the UPS will output pure sine wave current (refer to the image below):

Many computer UPS output a square "wave" signal which is not good for A/V application.

all it says for my unit is "low distortion sine-wave inverter". So, not really sure what that means to tell you the truth.

I know, I saw that...

If you look on their site there's some references (like this one). Read the conclusions at the end of the linked document... They talk about using the right waveform choice for your application (if you still want to use a UPS which is not required in your case), I would suggest contacting them and explain them your application and what product would suit your needs...
