Possible Arnold Cameo in T4 - from Movieweb SEE BELOW FOR UPDATE

While conducting a panel for his upcoming sequel Terminator Salvation, director McG revealed that he is currently in talks to have both Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger appear in the film in some capacity. Here's what he said to the crowd:
It seems appropriate to have (Linda Hamilton) in the picture in some capacity. We're talking about it right this minute. Literally. At this minute. I am in constant communication with the California Governor. We showed him the film days ago, and await a meeting with him later this week. Truthfully, in regards to Schwarzenegger's participation, it's not clear. We'll see where we land on that. He's a very powerful guy. He has to do what's right for him. It might be helpful for all of us to email him, telling him it's a good idea.

Possible Robert Patrick Cameo in T5 - from Moviehole

Ripping a page out of Paul W.S Anderson’s “Alien Vs. Predator” (good for something after all!; remember how Lance Henriksen played the inventor of Bishop, the character he played in the "Alien" movies?) book, McG tells FEARnet that he’s possibly going to have Patrick play the scientist that ultimately forms the mould of the unstoppable T-1000 from “Terminator 2 : Judgement Day”.

"I talk to Robert Patrick with great regularity," he said. "It's interesting – I was [thinking of] a through line. I'll bounce it off of you guys: I like the idea in a prospective next picture that you meet Robert Patrick the way he looks today, and he's a scientist that's working on improving cell replication so we can stay healthier and we can cure juvenile diabetes and all these things that once again sound like good ideas -- and once again live as an idealized expression of ourselves. So imagine seeing a sixty-year-old Robert Patrick and knowing, 'Holy shit! That's gonna be the T-1000 – who comes back perfect, lean and the whole thing.' I haven't concluded that, but Robert and I had dinner the other night and talked about it.

Arnold probably NOT in T4 after all. Direct quote from governor:

"But you know as I said to the director when they began that I wish them the best of luck, that I'm happy that they move forward with the franchise, I am very happy with where I am with my profession as the governor and they should try to find a way of doing a story that does not include me at all, not even one single shot in it. I don't believe in that. To kind of have them go out and promote the movie and say you know Arnold is in the movie and everyone thinks that I'm the Terminator and in fact you only see one second of me in there and so I don't think that's the right thing to do. And you know that's the danger of that, and that's why I feel reluctant to be part of the movie in the first place. So it doesn't get promoted that way."

first off the arnold and hamilton cameo isnt bad but for the whole robert patrick coming back and being a scientist or what have you i think i will wait and see how this terminator comes out before i start to get exited over anything on the possible sequels to follow

Wow, that would be really cool if Patrick did that. He was bad a$$ as the T-1000 and it would be great to see him in it

Both would be great. Patrick was very good as T-1000and I have hard time imagining any other actor in that role. Ahnuld, well, he is the Terminator

I clearly remember when Arnold was running for Governor here that he said he would not be in any movies so that people knew he was serious and commited to the position.

Plus is camero in T4 is digital, not for real. I guess we will know when it comes out.

Arnold also is going to make a cameo as himself in Stallone's Expendables.

The possibility of a T4 is "interesting"

T5 is comical however


I can only imagine (as it points out is the case) it'd be next to impossible for an acting gov't official to hold a role such as this.
