Arrow HUGE Wolverine Spoilers (Linked)

There's a very early review up with Spoilers (the spoilers are whited and you have to highlight them). There are parts that sound pretty badass and there are parts where I'm hoping the reviewer is just having a hard time making it sound cool.

The review is very positive. Click the pic to head over to the review.

Hahaha!

I might go see this. IMO Gambit seems ridiculous and they will never get Sabretooth right. The scene in the trailer where the bike explodes and he flies up to the helicopter tested my faith in this project....

If they would have put Omega Red in this, I would have gone to a midnight showing.

I think that is a fake review. Honestly, there is nothing in the review that mentions anything that we haven't heard about yet. Everything is from the trailers or speculation/talk that has been happening on wolverine forums. The whole spoiler has been talked about for the past two weeks over at Superherohype forums. But yeah, I still have low expectations for this one considering it's a Fox comic book film. I'm hoping to be surprised by actually getting a good movie though.

Sounds terrible, I hope it's fake. The helicopter scene looks hilarious to me.

and? fox has made some of the best comic book movies ever. hands down! sure, they've had some misfires but it's not like their warner brothers though. warner brothers has had maybe 4 excellent comic book films and a couple of really good ones. mostly though it's all crap. with fox you know you're going to get a good comic book movie. at the very least.

that is what deadpool looks like w/o his costume.

there was a pic of a toy released online a couple of weeks ago that looked just like this guy and was marked as deadpool.

deadpool starts out looking normal but after going through his weapon x stuff, gets disfigured.

can't wait for this movie!!!

Your kidding me right? The only really, really good comic book movies from Fox were X-Men 1 and 2. Those were really awesome movies right off the bat. But, if you would look at the history of those films you'd be amazed they came out as good as they did. Then you have Daredevil which the theatrical version completely sucked while the extended cut was like a totally different movie. Fox wanted a shorter film and therefore meddled to get their way, which hurt the theatrical version of the film. Fantastic Four 1 & 2, while being entertaining in a popcorn way, could have been a great deal better. They were forced to have a certain runtime in order to get more showings in the day, especially part 2. Elektra, down there with Catwoman, as one of the worst comic book films ever. And then there is X-Men 3, which was completely micro-managed to the extent that they were rushing to get the film done to beat Superman Returns to theaters. There is a lot of wrong that Fox had done to their comic book properties and most of their current films as well.

What has Warner Bros. done that was so bad?

Schumaker Batman films and Catwoman, obviously, but what else is there? You didn't like Constantine? V for Vendetta? Watchmen? Superman? The good Batman films?

If all we have to suffer from WB to get greats is a couple bad Batman and Superman sequels/spinoffs, I think that's a pretty good trade off. I mean, come on. Batman alone has given us 6 live action films in the past 20 years, 4 of them being truly great. Can you even count 4 great comic adaptations from any other studio, let alone from a single property?

How could he be disfiguired if his natural mutant ability is healing...? Sorry, but Deadpool is one character that despite me thinking is pretty cool, never ever followed.

no i'm not kidding. the x-men movies were excellent. the third not so much, but it was pretty good. the fantastic four movies were also pretty good as well. i think fox has a pretty decent track record with comic book movies. better than warner brothers.

have you even seen steel? that is the worst comic book film ever made. as is catwoman, superman 3, superman 4: the quest for peace, batman forever, and batman and robin. that's a really bad track record. let's also not forget the mis-mangled supergirl. though not really a warner brothers film it is a dc comics film which is owned by warners and it is atrocious. warner brothers certainly have done right in the last few years, but they've got a lot work to do to catch up with the rest of the studios. aside from 4 movies they're the worst studio out there for comic book films. it's an absolute fluke that they even had two back to back comic book movies that were actually amazing.

Right. Superman and Batman sequels and spinoffs. Which is what I said. Do you not consider Steel a spinoff of Superman? Sorry for not having seen a movie I know is terrible, but I happen to be of the opinion that Steel is a spinoff character of Superman. I imagine the film wouldn't have shared the comic origin, but come on. Catwoman is an entirely different character in the film, but it's still safe to call it a Batman spin-off isn't it?

And Supergirl is quite obviously a Superman spin-off.

So we have 2 Superman spin offs that are terrible, 2 Superman sequels that are terrible, 1 Batman spin off that is terrible, and 2 Batman sequels that are terrible. Superman Returns is potentially up for grabs as a "bad sequel", but I honestly think it's a pretty good film despite the terrible "twist" they decided to put on it.

What of V for Vendetta? Watchmen? Constantine? Sorry, bro, but those movies plus the 4 great Batmans plus the 2 early Supermans is enough for me to put more faith in WB than any other studio.

it doesn't matter if they're spin off's or not. they still suck. but they're enough of their own character to not be spin off's really. aside from supergirl. all the movies i mentioned sucked big time and are hands down the worst of the worst when it comes to comic book films. watchmen is awesome and is one that i count in favor of warner brothers. as i said they're starting to get things right, but they've got a very long way to go before i trust them.
