Default "The Boy In The Striped Pajamas" on Blu-ray?

The excellent film, "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas" was released only on DVD and not on Blu-ray. Does anyone know why this is?

Also, would anyone know when this film will be released on Blu-ray?

Check out the movie trailer at: www.thefilmfactory.co.uk/boy/

Thanks.

My 11 year old daughter wants to see it. What age level do you think it is appropriate for?

didn't care for this movie in the slightest. The ending was powerful, but everything prior was just eye-rolling.

There should be no problem for your 11 year old daughter to watch this film. Actually, elementary schools have been viewing this film for the educational aspects to assist in informing school children about the holocaust. This movie will go a long way to educating children and many adults for that matter.

It was a limited release. I wasn't surprised it was only released on DVD. I got it from Netflix. Very powerful film.
