Default pioneer reciever sub output problem.

I have a Pioneer 192 khz 24bit reciever model number (if needed) vsx-516 and idk why but the sub bass is sooo low. i went through the audio setup and turned it up and still very low! the speakers are fine and when i bypass and direct connect my sub out from my pc to my sub then i have amazing bass. It used to be fine. Any thoughts?

its obviously not the sub. Im not familiar with pioneer's speaker calibration, so i would just say play with the settings and see what works. but im sure some of these pioneer fanboys on here can lend a hand.

maybe u have your crossover setting to low, try setting all your speakers to small and setting the crossover at 80hz, see if that helps

I have it turned upto max and its decent. but when i direct connect i have to have it SUPER low other whys its to much....but idk i tried playing a movie and still very little. I messed with all the settings....had the xover at 100 and turned it upto 150 and its better but still....
