Default ONE LAST TIME - -Bitstream or LPCM for movie playback?
I was watching Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist when I noticed it was playing in stereo. My set-up is PS3 to tv via HDMI for video. Then PS3 to HT via optical cable for sound.

I want to say that it has always been set LPCM for sound. And with that, all my speakers light up on my receiver. But not last night. So while watching Nick and Norah, I switched to Bitstream, and boom, all my speakers were on.

I just checked my PS3, and it is set to LPCM. If I change it to Bitstream, it says some portions of the audio track might be cut.

Just give me a straight answer please... LPCM or Bitstream?
